My family and I need a little help.
I got into a car accident 2 years ago and hurt my back and now I need surgery.
My problem right now is that I am scheduled to get back surgery soon
(Sept. 6th) so I will be out of work for 2 or 3 weeks for recovery and
I'm worried about how I'm going to buy groceries for my family and pay
all the bills until I'm able to get back to work.
The past 2 years of never ending financial problems and doctor bills following this accident has left us broke and in poor living conditions. So I've set up a modest campaign at gofundme just to help us get through this next 3 weeks while I heal from the surgery.
Please visit https://www.gofundme.com/helpbillrecover
Even the smallest donation of $5.00 will help us tremendously in this time of need.

Okay
I think I've come to the conclusion that the experience is just beyond words. Words are not enough to explain the experience. I could sit here and try to explain it till I'm blue in the face and you will never, ever get it unless you've tried it.
I apologize for my lack of words to describe the experience.
I can't even fathom the vastness of it and I never want to do it again. It was wayyyy too much for my little brain to handle. :-
Oh yea, and I was pissed at Brian for awhile because even though he warned me about it I still wasn't prepared for it in the least.
I talked to a local headshop guy the other day and he told me that Salvia has been illegal in Florida for awhile. He also said some people have died from brain hemorrhaging while smoking salvia but I recently read online that they have been using Salvia Pellets? to 'treat' brain hemorrhaging:
Study on Compound Salvia Pellet in Treating Hypertensive Cerebral Hemorrhage
I've scoured the internet since he told me this and haven't seen a single thing about anyone dying from smoking salvia.
Some people think salvia gives you a glimpse of what it's like to die without actually dying and I believe that is what I experienced too. It was weird because it was kind of cool and kind of sucked at the same time. All this knowledge and awareness of the universe around you comes to you kind of like your brain switching states, expanding or maybe switching off and changing focus to the soul mind. That part is cool but the thought of ceasing to exist in the physical and experiencing the company of your family and friends is almost terrifying like an extreme fear of the unknown. I really never wanna do it again till it's my time. Aren't you only supposed to die once anyways?

An Update On The Salvia Divinorum Experience with commentary afterwards.
Ok, so I just went over to Brians and did Salvia the right way this time and oh what an experience it was. I caught it all on video and we have lot's of commentary to share with everyone with a few informative insights about the experience and our interpretaion of it.
It was a very enlightening experience to say the least and I hope to convey to you the most truth about it that I can from my point of view.
I am editing the video tonight. I will comment via text overlay in the vid as to what I was experiencing at that particular time in the vid. After the video I plan to write a short story explaining my experience as far as I can remember in order to help enlighten some people about what Salvia Divinorum is really meant for.
Stay Tuned!

The United States Failing War On Drugs

The United States, as well as other participating countries, declared war on the illegal drug industry by passing an initiative to combat the illegal drug trade that threatened modern day society. This never ending war was initiated by President Nixon in 1969. Soon later in 1973 the Drug Enforcement Administration was created as a government branch dedicated to fighting this illegal industry. It is commonly known as the DEA.
Prior to this time there were many large attacks at the black market portion of the drug industry, but only laws were created. Research and trends revealed that this industry was still growing at an unacceptable level. Most of the punishments were rather lenient and were still not seen as being as beneficial as the government believed necessary. The 1973 creation of the DEA was the first major investment of the US government to crackdown on illegal drugs.
In 2005 alone, the United States spent more than $45 billion of tax payer's money on this war by fighting, incarcerating, and rehabilitating our drug issue. Not only is the spending completely out of control, but illegal drug use has continued to substantially increase every year since prohibition. More than one fifth of our youth population actively uses what the United States government considers to be illegal drugs.
Like any other war, the best possible resolution is to find diplomacy. What needs to happen is the finding of a middle ground to the failing battle that satisfies both opinions. Drugs such as marijuana are currently illegal that offer no severe health risks, are not dangerous, and are not addictive. Instead, the government continues to lie to our youth through schools and TV about such harmless issues. If legalized, regulated, and taxed, marijuana alone would be enough to fund a large portion of a war on dangerous drugs such as heroin and methamphetamines. This would also no longer pull law enforcement into unnecessary situations and keep them on track to fight harder drugs. Several countries around the world have realized this to an extent. Many parts of the world consider use of marijuana to be either legal or completely decriminalized.
Fortunately, some harmless herbs such as salvia divinorum have avoided the government's spree. It is not a very commonly known herb even through it is perfectly legal to sell and own in most of the United States. Salvia divinorum offers it's user a psychedelic experience that only lasts a short period of time and has not been known to cause harm to anyone. Salvia is a great example of how a nonaddictive herb can be legal and not get out of control.
We will continue to see the failure of our war on drugs until swift actions against harmful drugs are taken and the shackles released from harmless ones. Growing up in this world kids are exposed to these drugs. When they realize that the government has misled them, they lose faith in the government's decisions on other drugs. This may cause more harm than good. This article was written for our friends at The Best Salvia to help people understand the war on drugs.

Salvia isn't just the new drug of choice for experimental kids. It's a great way to get mildly famous.
This could be bad. Maybe our Salvia Videos are are the catalyst that will eventually cause Salvia to become illegal everywhere.
Here's a couple quotes from the article at Macleans.ca
"Salvia proponent Daniel Siebert, “an independent researcher, pharmacognosist, ethnobotanist, educator, and author” who has worked extensively with the plant, warns that salvia is not a party drug. “It is best taken in a quiet, nearly dark room; either alone, or with one or two good friends present. It should be taken either in silence or (sometimes) with soft pleasant music playing,” he writes. Many YouTube salvia trippers seem to have missed Sibert’s advice. “Every other video is just some guy at a party who can barely talk and everybody’s laughing at him,” Martinelli says. “That’s not how you’re supposed to take salvia... if you do it alone, and use it as a time to think, it’s a significant moment in your life.”"
"there are apparently some image-conscious members of the community. One YouTube member named "derfuebe" has recently taken to pleading with salvia documentarians to stop showcasing their work: "please stop posting videos of people smoking salvia... I am part of a group trying to keep salvia legal. Latley (sic) the news has said that kids are smoking salvia and posting it on youtube. We want to keep these videos from making the goverment (sic) try to illegalize salvia... For the love of salvia and it's enlightments."

What IS Salvia Divinorum
Salvia divinorum is a sprawling perennial herb which grows wild only in the Sierra Mazatec region of Mexico. It's leaves contain the extremely potent salvinorin-A. It has a history of use as a divinatory psychedelic for oral use and has been widely available since the mid 1990s primarily as a smoked herb. Its effects are considered unpleasant by many people. (Lamiaceae (Former: Labiatae), Salvia, divinorum; splendens)
